Data literacy doesn’t have to be difficult. Lexio is a tool designed to analyze and communicate data in a way that everyone can understand - in a natural language story. 

Challenge

To evolve the visual design language for Lexio product’s user interface and overall design system. To work with the design team to address affordances that improved user interactions and overall conveyance of a sophisticated product. An additional aspect of this role involved working with Grip Design to incorporate their branded illustrations for marketing.

design approach

As a contract UI designer, I had the opportunity to help people understand and trust the product’s underlying tech through user experiences. I focused on pushing boundaries within tech constraints to showcase how features and capabilities could be handled. In addition to establishing relationships among elements within the tool’s interface, I approached the overall product UI as an extension of the company’s brand to echo its values and aesthetic.
